Thermal die cutting works by controlling heat to displace a small portion of the material with minimal distortion of the larger material. Thermal dies are made from magnesium alloy plates which are chemically etched and are amazing precision for patterns and designs for precision die cutting.

• Thermal magnesium dies use heat to cut light mil vinyl materials to the liner. These dies typically are used for cut / pre-spaced parts.
• The maximum die image we can produce is 28” x 28”.
• We produce dies using .062” to .250” magnesium plates.
